Yellow Pages Canada required a client services analytics portal that would help the forecast call center volume using time series modelling and help manage their call center staff nationwide. SMI was contracted to setup the administrative functionality for the web based application so that administrators could easily manage staff schedules and user and roles creation.

Women’s College Hospital
The osteoporosis department at Women’s College Hospital required a web based application to track and fill patient charts and forms on their internal network. SMI was contracted to create an intuitive user interface that would help nurses and staff help fill in patient information online and doctors to retrieve this information based on a check-in/check-out system. The entire user interface was researched and designed with staff by first understanding their daily routines and then creating a backend and frontend system to help achieve a simple drag and drop user interface avoiding the need for complex control systems.

CORCARE Inc.
SMI is responsible for re-developing and maintaining all of CORCARE’s custom software systems. CORCARE’s current systems and architecture were designed using a variety of different and outdated technology platforms.
Through our software development process, we identified many security issues and multiple points of failure that resulted in lost revenue and frustrations with CORCARE’s customers. A full software re-development plan was created to address all architectural deficiencies and ensure that key requirements requested by stakeholders were maintained or enhanced

Influx Workflow Inc.
Influx Workflow provides integrated workflow solutions for the health care industry. SMI was contracted to lead their product design and development for their core product.

Working directly with our stakeholders we did a full business and workflow review, identified their existing solution issues and re-developed their entire core product to align it with their product vision. SMI further deployed the new version of the product to a number of their client sites with extremely positive feedback. The enhanced workflow yielded a 100% increase in efficiency over the existing software.
